Based within the South Queensland Operating Centre, the Bridges Service Group is currently seeking experienced Engineers to join the growing Brisbane team. 
 
Reporting to the Service Group Manager, you will be responsible for the quality of your own work as well as being expected to assist in the checking and review of junior members of staff within your team. As a senior member of the team, you will enjoy providing mentoring and technical guidance to both graduates and undergraduates.
 
Working closely with the manager and other principal engineers, the ideal applicant will have:
 

• Job management experience within a consultancy environment


• 5+ years experience in the design of road and rail bridges of reinforced, pretensioned and post-tensioned concrete, steel, steel composite and timber construction


• Demonstrated technical capability in respect of bridges, in particular with major road and rail clients and proven success in the delivery of projects to meet client's expectations


• Attained CPEng or approaching this milestone with a view to taking on the role of Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)


• Ability to design to Australian Bridge Code
