The Gold Coast‘s property industry is showing signs of recovery and this well established business is getting ready to ramp up with several new projects in the pipeline.

Reporting to a very experienced CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for day to day financial operations but will also get involved in acquisitions and divestments. Your main duties will include cashflow management, budget preparation, producing statutory accounts, tax compliance, management accounts and variance analysis, reporting and managing a small team.

As the successful candidate you will be suitably qualified with previous experience in property development and/or construction. You will ideally have had exposure to joint venture/project accounting, have a high level of systems knowledge and enjoy continually improving existing procedures.

You will enjoy getting actively involved in all aspects of the business and have a commercial focus. With the strategic direction of the business, you will also have the opportunity to get involved with feasibility studies, raising capital, systems implementation etc
